Yesterday my mom said "You haven't updated your blog since September. I said "You know, your right."
Currently in some sort of limbo between finishing with school and working a job. I find myself with so much to do, yet I have too much time to do it, so I get bored and unmotivated. But Trevor! Why don't you program another game, play guitar, practice bass, make an electronic song, remake Sarah's website, hang out with friends, find more job leads, go exercising, read a book, study for the licencing exams, make your music website, prepare a delicious meal, bang your head against the wall, etc, etc.
I try to do some things, only feeling less motivated than when I started. I need deadlines. I need inspiration. I need a job (even part time to just keep me busy, and put a dollar in my pocket.)
How many people go through this limbo period? Some people have jobs right out of college, but what about everyone else? How do you keep focused when every day, every minute feels exactly the same?

I have never really had the "limbo" stage completely, but I find if I have too much free time on my hands, I generally lose motivation. I was fortunate enough to get a job straight out of college, but it was during college that I found if I didn't have a job, I had no motivation and my school work was proof enough to show it. So, have you been looking for even part time jobs since you've been done?
No, not for part time jobs. I would, but I figure who want's someone who might be working only a couple weeks before he gets a real full time job, you know?
